Staci Balbirer to Share Marital Settlement Agreement Drafting Tips in Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education Program

Aronberg Goldgehn’s Staci Balbirer will speak at the 2022 Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE)’s “Drafting Marital Settlement Agreements” in-person program on Tuesday, September 13. The event will be held from 9 am – 4:45 pm CT at UBS Tower & Conference Center. CLE credit is available.

Staci will join numerous Illinois attorneys for the all-day workshop, walking attorneys through the complex process of defining the terms of a divorce. She will breakdown the crucial elements to include in the settlement’s general clauses, while the rest of the faculty will share their insights on the following agreement items:

• Maintenance
• Property
• Retirement plans
• Tax clauses
• Security and enforcement
• Attorney’s fees

Staci concentrates her practice in the area of divorce and family law that encompasses issues related to complex financial matters, the allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, property division, pre-and post-nuptial agreements, orders of protection and international custody disputes.

The IICLE assumes the responsibility of encouraging and counseling attorneys in their continued education efforts.
