10.10.23

Aronberg Goldgehn has achieved Midsize Mansfield Rule Certification, underscoring the firm's commitment to elevating diversity, equity and inclusivity in the workplace. The firm joins 68 midsize firms in the U.S. and Canada in this year’s cohort achieving this accomplishment since the 2020 launch of the midsize-specific recognition.

“It is an honor to join the firms in the 2022-2023 cohort receiving Midsize Mansfield Rule Certification. We view it as a catalyst for our continued efforts,” said Amy M. Gibson, co-chair of the firm’s DEI Committee. “The certification demonstrates our commitment to advancing DEI and being more intentionally inclusive at Aronberg Goldgehn.”

To be designated as “Mansfield Certified” by Diversity Lab for the 2022-2023 cohort, midsized firms must have met specific benchmarks within a 15-month evaluation and documentation process to ensure hiring, elevations and matter-staffing efforts actively considered women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities and those within the LGBTQ+ community.

“Participation in the Midsize Mansfield Certification process complements our Chicago Committee participation in helping us translate our DEI goals into structured activities with measurable results,” Amy further stated. “We are proud of our inclusion and will continue to strengthen our firm-wide diversity initiatives.”

The Mansfield Rule is a structured certification process designed to ensure all talent at participating law firms has a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership. Mansfield is focused on broadening the talent pool for consideration, including those historically underrepresented in the legal profession, to facilitate transparent pathways to leadership.
