Amy M. Gibson Discusses Aronberg Goldgehn's Relocation to Loop; Client and Colleague Connection Post-Pandemic in CDLB

Amy M. Gibson recently discussed the state of Chicago law firms’ office locations following the COVID-19 pandemic in a Chicago Daily Law Bulletin article titled, “Law and the Loop: Attorneys reckon with past, future of community’s longtime nexus.”

While some firms have moved away from the traditional Loop office, opting to work from home and/or suburban locations, Aronberg Goldgehn recently relocated their long-standing River North office to the Loop.

In the article, Amy explains the reasoning for the firm’s move by stating, “When we are joining together, it’s because we want to be here […] in the city and want to be interacting with our colleagues. We want to be interacting with our clients; we want to be physically present and meeting.”

According to Amy, there is also a push for connection by the younger generation of lawyers. She said these individuals desire to build relationships with their colleagues and clients and grow in their career. She also believes the Loop will always serve as a hub for litigation practices who value proximity to the courthouses.
