Tracey advises healthcare organizations and other businesses on complex transactions, strategic initiatives, operations, governance, and regulatory compliance. She helps clients pursue their business objectives while managing legal and regulatory risk through practical, collaborative solutions.

Before joining Aronberg Goldgehn, Tracey spent more than a decade in senior in-house and private-practice roles, including serving as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Legal for DuPage Medical Group and Associate General Counsel for the U.S. Hearing Instrument Segment of Sonova Group. She later served as a partner and General Counsel to a Chicago law firm and its affiliated tax and accounting firm.

This extensive in-house experience gives Tracey a valuable understanding of how healthcare companies operate, make decisions, manage competing priorities, and evaluate legal advice. She understands that clients need more than technically correct answers. They need timely, practical counsel that accounts for operational realities, financial objectives, regulatory demands, and organizational risk. Having worked on the client side, Tracey knows how to integrate legal strategy into the broader business strategy — and how outside counsel can add genuine value.

Tracey regularly counsels clients on healthcare alignment transactions, fraud and abuse compliance, physician self-referral regulations, sophisticated commercial contracts, and other transactional, operational, and governance matters. Her combination of in-house leadership and private-practice experience enables her to anticipate concerns, communicate effectively with business and legal teams, and help clients move important initiatives forward.

Tracey began her legal career in private practice before moving into increasingly senior in-house leadership positions. She returned to private practice with a distinctive client-side perspective and joined Aronberg Goldgehn in 2026.
