
Rob Andalman is a business litigation and white-collar defense attorney with more than three decades of experience, supporting clientele ranging from privately held entrepreneurial organizations to Fortune 50 companies. In his civil practice, Rob’s matters have included commercial contract disputes, business torts, civil RICO, class action defense, and business divorce and complex ownership disputes. His criminal practice has included trial and grand jury defense in cases involving health care fraud, criminal RICO, antitrust, health care fraud, and the FCPA. Rob also has extensive experience conducting internal investigations.
Rob has a broad appellate practice that has included appeals in the Illinois Supreme Court, the Illinois Appellate Court, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Third, Fourth, Seventh, Eighth and Ninth Circuits, as well as filing multiple petitions for certiori in the U.S. Supreme Court. His appellate work has resulted in more than 30 appellate decisions.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Rob graduated from the University of Michigan in 1988 and received his law degree from the Boston University School of Law in 1992. He began his law career as a clerk for judges on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He then worked as a partner at international firm Altheimer & Gray. Subsequently, Rob became a litigation partner at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, now Dentons, and Loeb & Loeb, LLP, where he was co-chair of the litigation department. In 2014, Rob started his own litigation boutique, A&G Law, LLC. He joined Aronberg Goldgehn in 2025.
