Karen R. Mills Spoke at the National Association of Bar Professionals 2024 Annual Meeting

Aronberg Goldgehn partner and DuPage County Bar Association President Karen R. Mills joined a plenary session at the 2024 annual meeting of the National Association of Bar Professionals. For the session, entitled “Finding, Engaging, Managing and Rewarding Effective Volunteer Leaders,” she was joined by Robert Rupp, Executive Director of the DuPage County Bar Association and Mary Savaiano, Program Director, Governance, of Northwestern Medicine.

The session focused on the critical aspects of recruiting, managing, engaging and rewarding volunteer leaders within bar organizations. Volunteer leaders play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and effectiveness of bar associations, yet effectively harnessing their potential can be a complex endeavor.

The National Association for Bar Professionals is the only organization of its kind providing professional development and networking opportunities to bar associations across the country. Karen R. Mills is the 2024 DuPage County Bar Association President and Co-Chair of Aronberg Goldgehn’s Trusts and Estates practice group. She concentrates her practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate litigation, special needs planning, asset protection and guardianships for minors and adults with disabilities. Her practice also involves advising clients with respect to taxation, business and asset protection and long-term care planning.
