Karen R. Mills Educates Local First Responders on Estate Planning at 100 Club of Illinois Frontline Convention

03.12.25

Aronberg Goldgehn Member Karen R. Mills volunteered as a speaker at the third annual 100 Club of Illinois Frontline Convention. The event brought together nearly 500 local first responders — including law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, firefighters and social workers — providing them with resources to support eight key areas of well-being: mental, physical, emotional, social, spiritual, financial, occupational and environmental health.

In her presentation, "Getting Your Affairs in Order at Any Age," Mills covered essential estate planning topics, including key legal documents, tax considerations and strategies for asset protection.

“It was a tremendous honor to provide education and insight to a room full of such dedicated professionals who put themselves freely in harm’s way,” Mills said. “I am in awe of what these individuals do each day, and it was an honor to present to them.”

Aronberg Goldgehn further supported the event with a charitable donation to the 100 Club of Illinois, helping fund its mission to provide resources and assistance to first responders and their families.
