Aronberg Goldgehn is proud to announce firm Member John C. Sciaccotta has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Advocate for Diversity Award from Diversity Scholarship Foundation. This prestigious award acknowledges individuals who are dedicated to fostering diversity and advancing the ideals it represents within the legal community and beyond.

Throughout his career, Sciaccotta has been committed to creating opportunities for the next generation of legal professionals. As President of the Chicago Bar Association, he champions initiatives that promote inclusivity and broaden access to the legal profession. A proud lifelong Chicagoan, Sciaccotta is deeply committed to supporting his community. His passion for fostering positive change extends to his role on Aronberg Goldgehn’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, where he actively works to advance DEI efforts within the legal profession and in the Chicagoland community, including serving on the Board of Trustees of the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center in Chicago, and on the Board of Directors and as pro bono general counsel for WINGS Program, Inc., the largest domestic violence organization in Illinois.

Sciaccotta will be honored during the Diversity Scholarship Foundation’s annual Unity Gala and Awards Ceremony on January 16, 2025.
