PERSONAL
What do you love most about being an attorney? What I love most about being an employment attorney is helping clients navigate sensitive and complex workplace challenges with clarity and confidence. Employment issues often arise during stressful and pivotal moments for an organization, and I find it deeply rewarding to take complicated facts and legal requirements and translate them into practical, strategic solutions. Whether I am advising on compliance, guiding a client through an investigation or advocating in litigation, earning a client’s trust and helping them resolve matters efficiently and thoughtfully is the most fulfilling part of my work.
What is your favorite restaurant in Chicago?
So many choices, and it depends on the cuisine: Qiao Lin Hotpot, Tengoku Aburiya, Omakase Yume and Tango Sur to name a few!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and supporting my daughter’s competitive figure-skating journey. I also enjoy exploring new restaurants, reading and finding small pockets of time to reset, whether that’s through a walk, a good cup of coffee or a quiet moment to recharge.
Any other personal facts:
I was born in Korea but have also lived in Poland, Australia, and China, and I have now called Chicago home for more than 22 years.
