Henry Morris Handles Negotiation and Closing of TIF Financing for Retail Development at Ogilvie Transportation Center

Henry M. Morris, a member of Aronberg Goldgehn represented MetraMarket of Chicago, L.L.C. (of which U.S. Equities, Inc. is the Manager), and Ogilvie Transit Center Investor, Inc., as Developers, in connection with the negotiation and closing of a Redevelopment Agreement with the City of Chicago providing for TIF financing to assist in the development of the MetraMarket at the Ogilvie Transportation Center.
The MetraMarket, a street level retail development, is scheduled to open at the end of 2009, covering two full city blocks. Previously used as parking and storage, the MetraMarket will soon provide many exciting new retail and dining options for the West Loop neighborhood, as well as for commuters and destination diners. It will include a French market offering baked goods, produce and gourmet foods, a CVS pharmacy, a café and wine bar, retail shops and fine-dining restaurants.
