Aronberg Goldgehn Member Doug C. Murray recently spoke to a tax research class in the Master of Science in Taxation program at DePaul University. His presentation, “F-Reorganization of an S-Corporation to a Disregarded LLC” educated students on structure and process for a tax-free “F-reorganization” of an S-corporation, the interplay between corporate transactional (mergers and acquisitions) attorneys and tax professionals, and tax research strategies.
“It was a joy to spend time connecting with students and helping them deepen their understanding of the nuances of corporate tax strategies,” Murray said. “I’ve been fortunate to have years of practical experience in this field, and I hope I was able to impart some of what I know to the next generation of legal tax professionals in a meaningful way.”
Doug handles mergers and acquisitions, organizational reorganizations and restructurings, transactional matters, and venture capital investments and private offerings.
