He will launch and lead the new White Collar Investigations, Risk & Integrity practice group. A national leader in investigations, white collar defense and crisis management, Dado brings experience successfully navigating some of the most significant and historic crises of the past two decades. His work has included serving as senior staff for the independent, bipartisan panel commissioned by the President of the United States in 2024 to conduct a security review following the Trump Butler assassination attempt, representing Boeing in the criminal inquiry related to the 737 MAX incidents, monitoring Pacific Gas & Electric following the San Bruno pipeline explosion, conducting the independent investigation into allegations of research misconduct by Stanford’s president on behalf of the Stanford Board, and defending BP in the Department of Justice’s Deepwater Horizon criminal investigation.

“We are thrilled to bring a lawyer of Ralph’s caliber and extraordinary experience to the firm,” said Elizabeth Lazzara, co-chair of the firm’s Executive Management Committee. “His leadership of the new White Collar Investigations, Risk & Integrity group will make Aronberg a premier destination for white collar work of the highest level both in Chicago and nationally.”

The new practice connects with Aronberg Goldgehn’s storied history and deep ties in Chicago, including the firm’s role in the landmark 1969 Greenberg Commission, an independent inquiry which led to the resignation of two Illinois Supreme Court Justices. Joining Dado in the new practice group are firm Member and co-chair John C. Sciaccotta, along with Members Michael Hayes, Rachael Blackburn, and Rob Andalman.
