Amy M. Gibson Selected as 40 Under Forty Recipient by Chicago Lawyer and Chicago Daily Law Bulletin

Aronberg Goldgehn is proud to announce Amy M. Gibson has been named one of Chicago Lawyer’s 40 Under Forty attorneys in 2021.

Amy’s recognition is a direct result of her dynamic practice and commitment to her clients. Concentrating in commercial litigation and employment law, Amy works tirelessly to protect client assets and business interests, and she also defends clients in claims involving discrimination, retaliation, violation of state and federal wage laws and worker misclassification.

Her dedication to advocating for her clients and reaching their desired result has resulted in a unique level of trust from clients and others in the legal industry.

Former Judge Rodolfo Garcia of the Circuit Court of Cook County and the First District Appellate Court said, “Ms. Gibson is someone I would entrust with my own representation if I had to deal with litigation.” Amy appeared before the retired judge and represented a client in a family-owned business dispute for more than five years. She succeeded on a motion for summary judgment and obtained a punitive damages award of $1M in favor of her client – a result which is rarely attained.

In addition to her law practice, Amy also serves as a role model and advocate for countless women and students in or entering the field of law. Amy has served as Co-Chair for the Alliance for Women at the Chicago Bar Association, and she is a Co-Chair of Aronberg Goldgehn’s DEI Committee. She also regularly hosts guest lectures at her alma mater in which she guides and prepares the new generation of law students for future success.
