Amy M. Gibson Honored as an Employment Law Trailblazer by The National Law Journal

Aronberg Goldgehn’s Amy M. Gibson was named to The National Law Journal’s 2022 Employment Law Trailblazers list for her advancement in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the firm and the employment law industry.
A co-chair of Aronberg Goldgehn’s DEI committee, Amy is committed to implementing acceptance in the legal community that goes beyond just education and awareness.
Some of the initiatives Amy has led include:
- Implicit bias training which critically discusses ideas of race and gender to best represent clients with subconscious prejudices in mind
- Hosting guest speakers that focus on creating spaces in the workplace where employees feel valued and supported
- Recruitment efforts that highlight and focus on increasing diversity, including through the firm’s summer associate program
As a former Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law and Alliance for Women committees, Amy also had the opportunity to talk about various DEI efforts with other professionals to further advance equality in the industry.
Her efforts to expand the legal industry with inclusion and acceptance allows voices and perspectives that once felt silenced, to finally be able to contribute to the conversation. The implementation of DEI initiatives in the workplace lead to more impactful and safer working environments which fosters even more success from the workforce.

Amy serves as co-chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and DEI Committee. She focuses her legal practice on employment litigation and counseling and complex civil litigation, including claims involving shareholder disputes, fraud, consumer fraud, breach of contract and real estate.
