Alan S. Wernick Achieves Settlement for Client Regarding ISP-Related Cyber Breach Matter
01.31.23
Aronberg Goldgehn’s Alan S. Wernick successfully resolved a privacy/cybersecurity law matter for a client related to two cybersecurity events.
Alan’s client was a victim of two separate cybersecurity events through their Internet Services Provider (“ISP”) that caused client’s private and sensitive information to be compromised. After extensive fact gathering, analysis and negotiations, Alan was able to keep the case out of court and achieve a settlement agreement on behalf of the client. The agreement included, among other things, the ISP reimbursing the client for most of their attorney fees and all of their out-of-pocket fees related to the two cybersecurity events.
