Jim Christman and Lindsay Lollio Obtain Defense Verdict in Professional Negligence Trial

Jim Christman and Lindsay Lollio obtained a defense verdict for a cardiac surgeon following a two-week jury trial in Cook County, Ill. (Chicago). Jim and Lindsay defended the surgeon against allegations of medical negligence that led to a complication following a complex open-heart procedure.The patient died as a result of the complication.

The patient’s estate asked the jury to award $9.8 million for wrongful death, but the jury returned a verdict in favor of the surgeon.
