Aronberg Goldgehn's Women Attorneys Volunteer at Sarah's Circle

05.03.19

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, a group of Aronberg Goldgehn’s Women’s Initiative members volunteered at Sarah’s Circle in Chicago’s Uptown Community, providing dinner service for their residents.

Sarah's Circle is a non-profit organization with a mission of serving women who are homeless or in need of a safe space. Sarah's Circle has a Daytime Support Center open to any woman in need, a 50-bed interim housing (shelter) program for women who are currently homeless, and permanent supportive housing for women who have a disabling condition and have been chronically homeless.

Organized by Members Lindsay Lollio and Cathy Connelly Warren, Aronberg Goldgehn’s women attorneys brought and served home-made mostaccioli, salad, fresh vegetables and desserts.

“I am so proud to be partnered with these generous and remarkable women,” Elizabeth Lazzara, Member and Women’s Initiative Co-Chair, said after the event. “The residents of Sarah’s Circle were so kind and gracious. It truly was an uplifting, gratifying event for all of us.”

About Aronberg Goldgehn’s Women’s Initiative

The Aronberg Goldgehn Women’s Initiative’s mission is to support and encourage the success of the women at our firm. The main goals of the Women’s Initiative program are to enhance professional opportunities both in and outside the firm for women lawyers, and to encourage all of the firm's attorneys to be active leaders in professional and civic organizations in the communities in which they live. These efforts naturally include hiring, promoting and retaining female attorneys, and providing mentoring in order to develop and expand client relationships, to connect with one another and to share opportunities for professional advancement.
