John Sciaccotta To Be Installed on the Chicago Bar Association's Board of Managers

At the Chicago Bar Association’s 144th Annual Meeting on June 22, 2017, Aronberg Goldgehn member John Sciaccotta will be installed on the CBA’s Board of Managers.

Outgoing President Daniel M. Kotin will preside over the meeting. Incoming President Judge Thomas R. Mulroy will also make remarks.

The CBA’s Annual Meeting will take place at The Standard Club, 320 S. Plymouth Court, 5th Floor, beginning with a reception at 11:30 a.m.

John focuses his practice on litigation, arbitration and business counseling matters with a special emphasis on complex civil trial and appellate cases brought in federal and state courts throughout the United States. He has also been appointed by the American Arbitration Association as an Arbitrator and Lawyer Neutral to adjudicate various claims and disputes in arbitration.

For many years John has provided results-oriented and value-driven legal counsel and advice to public and privately held businesses, lenders, employers and individuals. In these and other concerns, he has experience dealing with numerous industries and business activities.

Active in the community, John has served as Chair of the CBA’s Bench and Bar Committee; is a member of the CBA Commercial Litigation Section and the ABA’s Section of Litigation and Business Law Section, Business Divorce Subcommittee; and a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, the Justinian Society of Lawyers, and the Cook County Committee for Retention of Judges, among many other professional and civic associations.
