CBA Regulatory Committee to Present "Let's Be Transparent About the Corporate Transparency Act"

The Chicago Bar Association’s Regulatory and Compliance Committee, co-chaired by Judith S. Sherwin, will welcome Pia Angelikis on Thursday, January 25, 2024 for a live webinar discussion of the Corporate Transparency Act, which went into effect on January 1.

As Co-Chair of the committee, Judy is responsible for the education and management of events covering regulatory trends and compliance counseling. The Regulatory & Compliance committee strives to provide education on regulatory trends across industries. The group also aims to share compliance counseling guidelines, monitor new appointments or elections of vital regulators and create a network of regulatory and compliance attorneys and personnel.

Judy is a health care attorney with a wide range of experience representing hospitals, long-term care providers, nursing homes and other health care providers with respect to litigation, regulatory, compliance and transactional matters. She was recently named the 2024 Chicago Lawyer of the Year in Health Care Litigation by Best Lawyers in America.
