Aronberg Goldgehn Participates in United Way Snack Packing Event

10.24.22

Last week, Aronberg Goldgehn participated in a care project for United Way, sponsored by the firm’s DEI Committee. Firm volunteers in the Chicago and Wheaton offices packed snack packs as part of United Way’s Day of Service programming.

DEI Committee members learned that hunger is a real issue for many individuals and children across the region. Trying to perform at work, focus in school, or even complete simple tasks can be difficult when you are hungry. Volunteers organized by the DEI Committee helped by assembling nutritious snack packs. Packs included kid-friendly items such as mixed nuts, bars, fruit snacks, juice boxes, and more.

Firm volunteers assembled approximately 250 snack packs and included positive, uplifting messages inside, such as, “You are amazing,” and “Love is all around.” United Way will distribute the snack packs to after school programs so kids can have something to eat and maintain their energy to do homework, study, or be physically active.
