Christopher J. Bannon, Co-Managing Member of Aronberg Goldgehn, was named a Super Lawyer in Insurance Coverage. He focuses his practice on helping clients resolve commercial disputes through litigation, mediation, arbitration and other resolution methods. He devotes a substantial part of his practice to representing insurance companies in resolving complex coverage disputes arising out of various types of insurance policies and relationships. In addition to his insurance related practice, Chris has represented business entities in a variety of matters. He has assisted clients in resolving claims arising out of contracts, real estate transactions, construction, leases, banking transactions, employment relationships and various other commercial matters. He also regularly defends attorneys and other professionals against claims related to their professional services. Chris joined Aronberg Goldgehn in October 1989 and became Co-Managing Member in 2009.

Jay A. Frank was named a Super Lawyer in Family Law. He is a senior matrimonial attorney with more than 40 years of experience representing a wide variety of clients, including attorneys, television and radio personalities, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, sports figures, physicians, accountants and other professionals on a local, national and international basis. In his practice, he has successfully pursued, traced and valued valuable assets. He also has successfully litigated or negotiated premarital agreements, property distributions, support awards and custody and visitation arrangements. Jay joined Aronberg Goldgehn in August 1999. He is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a group of the 1,500 best family law attorneys in the United States.

Thomas K. Hanekamp was named a Super Lawyer in Insurance Coverage. Tom is an accomplished litigator and trial lawyer who focuses his practice on major commercial litigation on a nationwide basis, primarily on behalf of insurers in coverage matters involving management and professional liability. In addition, he regularly counsels clients with respect to insurance coverage issues associated with D&O, E&O, EPL and professional liability claims. For more than 20 years, he has also handled coverage matters involving environmental, asbestos and other long tail exposures. Tom is a frequent author and speaker on topics such as failed bank litigation, the subprime mortgage crisis, the proper use of experts in litigation, presenting the corporate witness for deposition and electronic discovery. Tom joined Aronberg Goldgehn as a member in August 2016.

Julie A. Johnson was named a Super Lawyer in Family Law. Julie dedicates her practice to issues of matrimonial and family law, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence/orders of protection, child support, post-judgment litigation, adoption, parentage and all other related matters. She is engaged in all aspects of the practice, including preparing prenuptial agreements, drafting pleadings, handling pre-trial motions, engaging in settlement negotiations, conducting discovery analysis, and handling trials and appeals. She has handled significant published appellate cases, including In re Marriage of Micheli, 2014 IL App (2d) 121245 and In re Marriage of Branit, 2015 IL App (1st) 141297, reh'g denied (Oct. 15, 2015), appeal denied (Jan. 20, 2016). In 2017, Julie was presented with the Alta May Hulett Award by the Chicago Bar Association's Alliance for Women. Julie joined Aronberg Goldgehn in July 2009.

William A. Niro was named a Super Lawyer in Intellectual Property Law. He has 40 years’ experience representing clients in business transactions and intellectual property matters, including in securing patents, trademarks and copyrights. He has successfully resolved disputes on behalf of U.S. and international clients through mediation, trial and settlement. He has tried cases throughout the United States in state and federal courts, and has argued cases before state and federal appellate courts. Bill has secured trademark registrations and licenses to protect more than 500 brands in the United States and in 50 countries throughout the world. Bill joined Aronberg Goldgehn as a Member in April 2019.

John C. Sciaccotta was named a Super Lawyer in Business Litigation. John focuses his practice on litigation, arbitration and business counseling matters with a special emphasis on complex civil trial and appellate cases brought in federal and state courts throughout the United States. John has also been appointed by the American Arbitration Association as an Arbitrator and Lawyer Neutral to adjudicate various claims and disputes in arbitration. Among his many professional and community leadership positions, John is Co-Founder and Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Business Divorce and Complex Ownership Disputes Committee and formerly sat on the CBA’s Board of Managers. John joined Aronberg Goldghen in April 2015.

Blooma Stark was named a Super Lawyer in Estate & Probate Law. She focuses her practice on estate planning and probate with particular emphasis in the areas of tax planning, asset protection planning and elder care planning. She helps clients to meet their goals with respect to their estates and providing for their families in the most tax efficient way. In addition to her law degree, Blooma holds a degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University where she graduated summa cum laude. An experienced speaker on the subjects of estate and trust administration, estate planning, elder law and Medicaid planning, asset protection planning and other estate planning topics, she has been invited to present before many organizations. Blooma joined Aronberg Goldgehn in August 2001.

Michael A. Zaslavsky was named a Super Lawyer in Family Law. He represents clients in divorce and family law matters. He has represented many prominent business executives in the Chicago area as well as many high-profile professional athletes in various domestic relations and other personal matters. These clients have included members of Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association and the National Football League, many of whom have referred their teammates and other athletes to Michael. In addition, over the past 35 years judges throughout Cook County have frequently appointed Michael as Guardian ad Litem (Child’s Representative) in contested custody cases. Prior to joining Aronberg Goldgehn in May 2008, Michael was a named partner in a family law practice in Chicago.
