Dan Cotter Receives 2026 NCBP/LexisNexis Rule of Law Award

Aronberg Goldgehn is pleased to announce that firm Member Dan Cotter has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 NCBP/LexisNexis Rule of Law Award from the National Conference of Bar Presidents (NCBP).
The annual award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to strengthening and advancing the rule of law. He was honored for his consistent service to the legal profession, including his weekly podcast and column published in the Chicago Law Bulletin, as well as his longstanding support of bar association initiatives dedicated to promoting the rule of law. Dan currently serves as Immediate Past President of the NCBP.
“Dan’s commitment to the legal profession extends far beyond his own practice,” said Member John C. Sciaccotta, who nominated Cotter for the award. “Through his voice and leadership, he has elevated important conversations about the rule of law and inspired lawyers here in Chicago and across the country.”
