John C. Sciaccotta Co-Founds WINGS Men's Alliance to End Domestic Violence
10.31.25
Aronberg Goldgehn Member John C. Sciaccotta has co-founded the WINGS Men’s Alliance with former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, an initiative created to mobilize men as allies, advocates and leaders in the effort to end domestic violence and build safer, more equitable communities.
Through his longstanding commitment to this cause — including co-founding The Chicago Bar Association’s (CBA) Domestic Violence Committee during his tenure as CBA President for the 2024-25 term — Sciaccotta has seen firsthand how meaningful change begins when men get involved as advocates.
“It requires all of us to step up as advocates in the fight to end domestic violence,” he said. “Men play a critical role in that, but they are often underrepresented. This alliance is meant to bring men into the conversation through education, community engagement and by demonstrating what respect and empathy look like in action.”
Professionals and members of the public alike are invited to join the Men’s Alliance. There is no required donation or meeting obligation.
