Eric R. Slutsky is an Associate in the firm’s Business Law and Transactions, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Emerging Companies practice groups. He advises private equity firms, their portfolio companies, and growth-stage and startup businesses on a range of corporate matters. Eric focuses on transactional and general counsel work, assisting clients throughout all stages of the business lifecycle, from formation and growth to acquisitions and exits.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Eric began his legal career in 2020 at CME Group, where he worked as an attorney focused on venture capital transactions at the forefront of the futures and derivatives markets. In 2021, he joined Dickinson Wright, PLLC, as an Associate, where he played a key role in mergers and acquisitions, debt and capital raises, and other corporate transactions. In 2024, Eric moved to Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, as an Associate in the Corporate Group, advising clients on complex mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. He joined Aronberg Goldgehn as an Associate in 2025.

What do you love most about being an attorney? I enjoy helping clients navigate complex transactions and providing strategic solutions that drive their businesses forward.

What is your favorite restaurant in Chicago? Chicago has an incredible food scene, but if I had to pick one, I’d say Bavette’s.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I enjoy traveling and exploring new places with my wife and son.
