David A. Johnson Appointed as Chair of Business Transactions Committee

Aronberg Goldgehn’s David A. Johnson has been appointed to serve as Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s (CBA) Business Transactions Committee for 2023-2024.

In this leadership role, David will serve the committee by:

  • Organizing bi-monthly meetings and seminars
  • Attending and participating in meetings
  • Coordinating publicity and logistics for CBA staff
     

David’s previous involvement with the CBA has included participation in the Environmental Law Committee of the Young Lawyers Section, where he was honored as a recipient of the David C. Hilliard Award in 2010-2011. He currently holds the position of Vice-Chair within the Illinois State Bar Association's Business Advice and Financial Planning section.

David is a seasoned business attorney proficient in safeguarding companies and investors from the legal pitfalls associated with buying and selling businesses.
