William A. Price Shares Key BIPA Provisions to Better Manage Liability in Decalogue Society Seminar

Aronberg Goldgehn’s William A. Price shared insights regarding the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) in a Decalogue Society of Lawyers seminar titled “Managing Liability Under the Biometric Information Privacy Act” on Thursday, September 7.
Bill’s presentation provided attendees with information about the BIPA, defined relevant terms and the meaning of “biometric information” and discussed several Illinois Supreme Court cases associated with the Act.
Members of Decalogue and co-sponsoring organizations received one hour of MCLE credit from attending the seminar.
Bill concentrates his private practice on securities law work for companies raising capital, purchasing and selling businesses and managing day-to-day legal and regulatory problems. He also provides services in business and administrative litigation, international and national contracts and nonprofit entity law. He was appointed by Governor Edgar and confirmed by the Illinois Senate as the state Small Business Utility Advocate.
