Natassia is a rising third-year law student at Quinnipiac University School of Law in North Haven, CT, where her activities include serving as Senator in the Student Bar Association, Treasurer of the Asian-Pacific American Law Students Association, and Liaison to the Connecticut Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Section. She is a current fellow of the Lawyers of Color and an active member of the Lawyer’s Collaborative for Diversity. Natassia also is a volunteer in the Tax Clinic at Quinnipiac, where she aides with providing pro se representation for state and federal disputes to Low Income Tax Payers. She clerked over the 2020-2021 year for the Honorable Judge Kathleen N. Maxham of the Fairfield Probate Court.
Natassia earned her bachelor’s degree in 2019 from the University of Miami. There, she was the founder of the Sustainable Waste Composting Initiative. She also supplemented her International Studies and Political Science major by spending two years in a study abroad program at La Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid. At Nebrija, Natassia won the 9th annual short story competition with a piece entitled, Homage to a Close Friend.
Natassia is fluent in Spanish and has advanced French and Portuguese language skills, as well as beginner-level skills in Mandarin, German and Catalan.
In the community, Natassia volunteers with Project Linus, an organization that provides new, handmade blankets to children in need and who are undergoing medical treatment.

In her free time, Natassia is an avid athlete and foodie. She enjoys biking, playing tennis and golf, and hiking. If she is not spending her time out on the courts teaching juniors the fundamentals of a swing, she is at home perfecting recipes through culinary experimentation. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and watching telenovelas.
What is one item on your bucket list? I would love to visit Japan. I love traveling and learning new cultures, and subsequently, languages and the best way to do this is to actually immerse yourself fully in the country.
What would you be doing if you weren’t becoming a lawyer? If I were not becoming a lawyer, I would probably be a doctor. I wanted to be in a profession catered towards helping people, and that is exactly what law provides me.
What is your favorite place in Chicago? This is a close tie between the botanic garden and the Shedd.
What is the best vacation you’ve ever been on? My study abroad years in Madrid or Atlantis, Bahamas.
What is your favorite restaurant? This is a tough choice! I have to say that Commander’s Palace in New Orleans or La Pepica in Valencia, Spain have the best meal.
What is something most people don’t know about you? I have a little brother Étienne, who is TikTok famous, and grew up in Lake Forest.
