Julie Johnson Presenting at the Illinois State Bar Association's Second Installment of the Family Law Table Clinic Series
On November 17, 2016, Aronberg Goldgehn attorney Julie A. Johnson (formerly Neubauer) will co-present “Party Depositions,” “Subpoena In/Out of State,” and “Admissions Offered Prior to Trial” at Session Two of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Family Law Table Clinic Series.
During Round One Julie and her fellow panelist will present “Party Depositions” from 8:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m.
During Round Two, Julie and her fellow panelist will present “Subpoena In/Out of State” from 10:50 a.m. to 1 p.m.
During Round Three, Julie and her fellow panelist will present “Admissions Offered Prior to Trial” from 1:30 p.m. to 3:40 p.m.
The Family Law Table Clinic series offers informal table top presentations on a number of key family law topics, including discovery SCR 213/214; ancillary witness depositions; requests to admit; in/out of state subpoenas; pretrial motions; admissions offered prior to trial; and more.
This interactive CLE format promises to give attendees ample opportunity to ask questions, clarify issues and discuss concerns with faculty members at the end of each presentation. The series is open to all levels of practice experience, but designed with attorneys new to family law (or who need a refresher) in mind.
Family Law Table Clinic Series - Session 2 will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. at the ISBA Regional Office at 20 South Clark Street, Suite 900. Up to 6 MCLE hours is available to attendees.

About Julie A. Johnson
Julie A. Johnson (formerly Neubauer) dedicates her practice to issues of matrimonial and family law, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence/orders of protection, child support, post-judgment litigation, adoption, parentage and all other related matters.
She is engaged in all aspects of the practice, including preparing prenuptial agreements, drafting pleadings, handling pre-trial motions, engaging in settlement negotiations, conducting discovery analysis, and handling trials and appeals.
Julie speaks and writes on a variety of topics relating to divorce, family law and domestic violence. With a unique combination of advocacy and legal experience, she frequently participates in cross-discipline events. Julie is a regular contributor to the Illinois State Bar Association Standing Committee on Women & the Law newsletter, The Catalyst, as well as other publications.
She has been recognized as an Emerging Lawyer in Family Law by Illinois Leading Lawyers and has been named a Rising Star in Family Law by Illinois Super Lawyers.
In April 2016 Julie was appointed Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association Standing Committee on Women and the Law for 2016-2017.
