Wealth and Estate Planning lawyer Gregory Frezados has joined Aronberg Goldgehn Davis & Garmisa as a Member.
Greg represents individuals, corporations, families, family offices, business owners and tax-exempt charitable organizations on wealth transfer planning, organizing closely held businesses, and philanthropic planning. He is the general counsel to several Illinois corporations.
He has extensive experience designing and implementing sophisticated estate planning strategies, concentrating on matters of family wealth transfer, estate, gift and generation skipping taxation, and philanthropy, as well as asset protection plans for single family offices, privately held businesses and entrepreneurs. He also designs tax efficient exit strategies for owners of mature business.
Greg regularly establishes and represents non-profit entities, including private foundations, public charities, supporting organizations and trade associations. He also establishes and advises businesses within many industries, including manufacturing, renewable energy, logistics, finance and technology; drafting all necessary business entity documents for growing concerns.
In addition, Greg is experienced in handling estates of decedents and disabled individuals in Probate Court.

Prior to joining Aronberg Goldgehn, Greg led the Estate and Wealth Transfer Planning Group at Kelly, Olson, Michod, DeHaan, & Richter, LLC, and has also held positions at Locke Lord, LLP, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Harris Trust and Savings Bank.
Greg earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School and his B.A. from Middlebury College.
He lives in Winnetka, Ill., with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he is an active member of the Winnetka Congregational Church, the Chicago Community Trust’s Professional Advisory Committee, the Union League Club of Chicago, and several other community nonprofit organizations.
