Amy Gibson and Maryam Arfeen Present on Best Practices for Employment Interviews

03.23.23

Aronberg Goldgehn attorneys Amy M. Gibson and Maryam H. Arfeen presented today on “Best Practices for Employment Interviews” to a client audience of hiring managers.

The presentation focused on preparing for interviews, with suggested “do’s” and “don’ts” for becoming familiar with the position and applicant, conducting the interview and post-interview follow-up while complying with federal, state and local employment laws.

Amy Gibson defends local and national employers in litigation and administrative proceedings involving claims by employees for discrimination, retaliation, violation of state and federal wage and hour laws, and worker misclassification. Amy counsels employers on a wide-range of employment matters, such as employment policies, compliance with state and federal employment laws, internal investigations, terminations, and classification of independent contractors/employees. Amy's legal practice also focuses on complex commercial litigation, including claims involving shareholder disputes, fraud, consumer fraud, breach of contract, and real estate.

Amy serves as Co-Chair of Aronberg Goldgehn's Commercial Litigation Practice Group, co-chair of the firm's DEI Committee, and a member of the firm's Executive Management Committee.
