David A. Johnson Jr. Honored on Crain's 2022 Notable Gen X Leaders in Law List

Aronberg Goldgehn proudly announces David A Johnson Jr.’s inclusion in the 2022 Crain’s Chicago Business Notable Gen X Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law list.

This esteemed list recognizes professionals who have demonstrated an ability to effect change in their organization as well as have assumed a leadership position in their community or beyond their organization.

David’s experience representing clients in multimillion-dollar capital raises, acquisitions and divestitures has led to him being appointed by the Illinois State Bar Association as an officer of its Business Advice and Financial Planning Section. He is a frequent speaker and author on business, financial and environmental law topics and has presented seminars and workshops for legal industry professionals like the Decalogue Society of Lawyers, Chicago Investors Organization and more.

David is active in firm leadership and serves on Aronberg Goldgehn’s Marketing Committee. He participates in the recruitment and hiring process to ensure the firm’s diversity objectives are supported and achieved. He ensures volunteer and professional development opportunities are available to the firm’s younger attorneys and ensures they are included in the private equity practice’s marketing efforts.

In the community, David currently serves as a trustee and president of his village’s library district. He also served in several leadership roles in his prior community, including:

  • Trustee and treasurer of library district
  • Volunteer firefighter
  • President of fire department association
