Karen R. Mills Offers Seniors Legal Guidance in 2022 Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Senior Conference

Aronberg Goldgehn’s Karen R. Mills recently participated in Naperville and Lisle Townships TRIAD’s 2022 Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Senior Conference on Friday, September 9th, in which she led individuals through various tips for protecting the finances of both their loved ones and themselves.

The seminar, “Wait… I Am Not Dead Yet, and I Need My Money” focused on the potential risk-factors that seniors may face to protect themselves, family and friends. Within this, Karen explored topics like:

• Decision-making capacity
• Financial exploitation
• Elder abuse
• Undue influence

The Naperville and Lisle Townships TRIAD empowers senior citizens to connect with their communities through programs, educational seminars and crime prevention programs. Their main mission is to enhance the quality of all senior citizens in Naperville and Lisle Townships.
