Elizabeth Lazzara Named as Crain's 2022 Notable Women in Law Honoree

Aronberg Goldgehn proudly announces Elizabeth Lazzara’s inclusion in Crain’s Chicago Business 2022 Notable Women in Law list for her commitment to mentorship, advocacy for women and pro bono work. This is her third acknowledgement by Crain’s following her naming as a Notable Gen X Leader in Law in 2019 and Notable Woman Lawyer in Chicago in 2018.
Elizabeth is the co-chair of Aronberg’s Women’s Initiative, created to support and encourage enhancements to professional opportunities for women in law. In this role and for over 20 years, she has served as a mentor to the firm’s next generation of attorneys, supporting women through encouragement and training.
As a member of the Associate Development committee and to further assist young professionals, Elizabeth helps provide opportunities for support and education with programming and training as well as social events to promote collegial networking, the sharing of insights and expanding their client relationships.
With a passion for civility, inclusion and service, she has recently become a coordinator for the firm’s pro bono initiative. These efforts will support and assist individuals with legal representation and resources that they otherwise could not obtain. In the broader legal community, Elizabeth annually serves as Campaign Vice-Chair for the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Investing in Justice Campaign, in which she assists in raising funds for pro bono and legal aid services.
In her practice, she regularly seeks out professional development opportunities to better assist each of her client’s unique needs. As a certified mediator for financial and custody-related matters, Elizabeth works to help clients find cost-effective and creative solutions.

Elizabeth Lazzara has over two decades of extensive experience representing clients in all financial phases of divorce or family law conflict. She works closely with accountants and valuation experts to determine non-marital and marital values of assets.
