Karen R. Mills to Guide Up-and-Coming Attorneys in the DuPage County Bar Association's Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentorship Program

Aronberg Goldgehn’s Karen R. Mills will draw from her considerable career in the legal industry to serve as a mentor in the DuPage County Bar Association’s (DCBA) Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentorship Program.

The year-long program, in partnership with the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, aims to promote integrity, professionalism and civility by passing wisdom from seasoned attorneys to the newest members of the legal profession.

As a mentor, Karen will act as both an educational resource and colleague sharing:

• Practical knowledge
• Business development skills
• How to navigate the ins and outs of delivering exceptional legal service

Karen concentrates her practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate litigation, special needs planning, asset protection and guardianships for minors and adults with disabilities. Her practice also involves advising clients with respect to taxation, business and asset protection and long-term care planning.

The DCBA’s Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentorship Program provides a guided curriculum that not only focuses on legal practice strategies but provides opportunities to develop a career rooted in civility and professionalism.
