The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) recently appointed Staci Balbirer to serve as Co-Chair of the Family Law Section Council’s Parentage Subcommittee for the 2022-2023 term.

 

Staci’s selection stems from her considerable career in family law. She has also served as a member of the ISBA’s Family Law Section Council as well as the Standing Committee on Women and the Law which focuses on discussion areas of law affecting women’s needs.

 

As Co-Chair, Staci will use her previous experience to:

· Set the committee’s annual goals

· Draft content for committee newsletters

· Attend and lead educational programs

 

Staci concentrates her practice in the area of divorce and family law that encompasses issues related to complex financial matters, the allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, property division, pre-and post-nuptial agreements, orders of protection and international custody disputes.

 

The mission of ISBA Family Law Section is to encourage and support a high level of professional and ethical commitment and knowledge among those who practice family law in all its substantive branches.
