John C. Sciaccotta Ascends Leadership Ranks of Chicago Bar Association as Elected Second Vice President

Aronberg Goldgehn proudly announces John C. Sciaccotta will serve as the Chicago Bar Association’s (CBA) Second Vice President for the 2022-2023 bar year. He will be installed in this role at the CBA’s 149th Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 23 at 11:30 am. This year’s meeting will be held at the Union League Club.

John is a long-time, committed member of the CBA, presenting numerous seminars and serving in many leadership roles throughout the years including:
Treasurer

  • Civics Committee, Founder
  • Business Divorce and Complex Ownership Disputes Committee, Co-Founder and Vice-Chair
  • Mediation Program, Co-Founder
  • Board of Managers, Member
  • CLE Committee, Vice-Chair
  • Bench and Bar Committee, Chair

John will continue his advancement in leadership in this new role to eventually become CBA President in the 2024-2025 bar year. This will be Aronberg Goldgehn’s first CBA President since 1969.

John represents publicly and privately held domestic and foreign business entities, lenders, employers, municipalities, government bodies and individuals in transactional matters and disputes. He is the founder and co-chair of the firm's Business Divorce practice group, the chair of the Commercial Litigation marketing group, a founding member of the firm's DEI Committee and a senior member of the firm's Marketing Committee.
