Aronberg Goldgehn Welcomes Summer Associate Emily Zhang

Full-service law firm Aronberg Goldgehn welcomes Emily Zhang, a rising second-year law student, as Summer Associate.
“The firm is delighted to have Emily this summer,” stated Sharon Zaban, co-chair of the firm’s summer program. “And we’re very pleased to bring back our summer program after the success of last year’s program.”
Emily, a law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, will work with attorneys from across the firm’s practices, gaining exposure to litigation, real estate, intellectual property, business law and transactions, and estate planning and family law. A variety of social outings is planned as well.
“We had a great experience last year, and really wanted to maintain that experience this summer,” stated Michael Zaslavsky, Aronberg Goldgehn’s other summer program co-chair. “We believe it is important professional development for our law students to participate in ‘real’ work across all practices.”
Emily Zhang is a rising second-year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law in Chicago, where she is the Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and a Pugh-Kaufman Scholar. She earned her undergraduate degree in 2020 from Boston University, majoring in Public Relations with minors in Business Administration and International Relations. Her foreign language skills include native language fluency in Mandarin and conversational Taiwanese. Prior to law school, Emily worked as a Legal Assistant, gaining exposure to discovery, motions and trial practice for a defense firm. Emily is not admitted to the practice of law in any jurisdiction.
