John C. Sciaccotta and Alexandra R. Benigni to Conduct Mock Cross Examination in CBA Business Divorce and Complex Ownership Disputes Committee Webinar

The Chicago Bar Association Business Divorce and Complex Ownership Disputes Committee will hold its monthly, free CLE-credited webinar, sponsored by Aronberg Goldgehn, on Tuesday, May 10 at 12:15 pm CT. During the program, Aronberg Goldgehn attorneys John C. Sciaccotta and Alexandra R. Benigni will conduct a mock cross examination to provide participants insight into preparing a successful cross examination.

The webinar, “The Art of Cross-Examination,” serves as the third session in a larger webinar series led by retired Judge Thomas R. Mulroy. John and Alex will join judges and fellow attorneys in discussing topics, including:
• Cross-examination preparation
• Ethical considerations
• Impeachment techniques
• Responding to objections
• Using a document or deposition to impeach
• Responding to the uncooperative and talkative witness

The session will also include a demonstration of a cross-examination in which John will serve as the attorney and Alex will serve as the witness.
