Aronberg Goldgehn Sponsors Reception for Former Latin American Presidents

Aronberg Goldgehn recently sponsored the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development’s (GFDD) cocktail reception welcoming former Latin American presidents to Chicago on Friday, April 22.

Led by H.E. Leonel Fernandez Reyna, former president of the Dominican Republic and president of GFDD, the reception honored three former presidents of Latin American countries, including:

• H.E. Ricardo Lagos, former president of Chile
• H.E. Laura Chinchilla, former president of Costa Rica
• H.E. Ernesto Zedillo, former president of Mexico

The reception followed an economic symposium produced by GFDD, UChicago Global and The University of Chicago Institute of Politics in which the former presidents discussed their perspectives on democratic and economic issues in their respective countries and in Latin America as a whole.
