Aronberg Goldgehn’s Karen R. Mills will share insights into estate planning and elder law for individuals with cognitive impairments, such as dementia, at the upcoming DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA) Joint Estate Planning and Elder Law webinar on Wednesday, January 26 at 12pm CT.

Joined by medical and legal professionals, Karen will present “Is it Too Late to Create an Estate Plan for Your Client with Dementia?” in which she will evaluate key topics in estate planning and elder law for those with dementia including:
• Elements for attorneys to understand concerning legal capacity
• How doctors determine legal capacity
• Common dementia signs and symptoms to identify if legal capacity may be a concern
• Tips to communicate effectively with clients who have dementia
