Alan S. Wernick recently discussed the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) latest guidance on protecting information from ransomware data breaches in the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Month-In-Brief: Internet Law and Cybersecurity.

Alan’s piece, “CISA Issues Guidance on Protecting Sensitive and Personal Information from Ransomware-Caused Data Breaches,” emphasizes the need to recognize the threat cyber-attacks may pose to a company or institution’s infrastructure.

He further explains that in order to manage the risks that cyber-attacks entail, businesses should utilize all available resources provided by the government and commercial vendors, in addition to their other available resources.
