John Sciaccotta Invited By Illinois Supreme Court Judge Mary Jane Theis to Present at the Judicial District 1 Bar Admission Ceremony

On Nov. 10, 2016, Aronberg Goldgehn Member John Sciaccotta will have the honor of moving for the admission of the candidates at one of the Illinois bar admission ceremonies for the July 2016 examinees. Justices of the Illinois Supreme Court will administer the attorney’s oath on that day at five separate locations across the state.

John was invited to present by Illinois Supreme Court Judge Mary Jane Theis. The Hon. Theis will preside over the Judicial District 1 ceremony, which will be held at 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2016, at the Arie Crown Theater, 2301 Lake Shore Drive, Chicago.

John’s son, Michael Sciaccotta, will be among the candidates who will take the attorney's oath during the ceremony. A Northwestern University School of Law graduate, Michael is an associate attorney in the Chicago office of the international law firm Dentons.

John joined Aronberg Goldghen in April 2015 from Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. He practiced at its Chicago office predecessor firm, Shefsky & Froelich, for 15 years. He focuses his practice on litigation, arbitration and business counseling matters with a special emphasis on complex civil trial and appellate cases brought in federal and state courts throughout the United States. John has also been appointed by the American Arbitration Association as an Arbitrator and Lawyer Neutral to adjudicate various claims and disputes in arbitration.
