Katie Attebery and Kari Hoelting Kaplan Named New Members
Aronberg Goldgehn Davis & Garmisa has named Katherine A. Attebery and Kari E. Hoelting Kaplan as Members of the firm, effective January 1, 2016.
Katherine A. Attebery concentrates her practice on banking law, with a focus on commercial loan documentation and modification, loan workout documentation, creditors' rights and commercial foreclosure litigation. She provides counsel to the firm’s banking clients on both transactional and litigation matters. Katie regularly drafts and negotiates loan documents, modification agreements, forbearance agreements, deed in lieu of foreclosure agreements and loan purchase agreements. She also represents lenders and business clients in commercial foreclosure and contract litigation.
Katie joined Aronberg Goldgehn as an associate in November 2010. She has been recognized as a "Rising Star" in Banking and Business Law by Illinois Super Lawyers and as an "Emerging Lawyer" in Banking & Financial Institutions Law by Leading Lawyers Magazine. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in 2007.
Kari E. Hoelting Kaplan concentrates her business and transactional law practice on corporate transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; entity formation and governance matters; private debt and equity offerings; and contractual and general business matters.
She is experienced in drafting and negotiating stock and asset purchase agreements, securities offering documents, operating agreements, stockholder agreements and various commercial agreements, such as manufacturing and supply agreements, confidentiality agreements, licensing agreements and other services contracts.
Kari joined Aronberg Goldgehn as an Associate in June 2012. She has been recognized as an "Emerging Lawyer" in Closely & Privately Held Business Law by Leading Lawyers Magazine and as a "Rising Star" by Illinois Super Lawyers. She earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law, St. Louis, in 2007.
