Jerry Holisky Receives Chicago Association of Realtors® 2010 Affiliate Member of the Year Award

Aronberg Goldgehn business lawyer Jerry Holisky has been honored by the Chicago Association of Realtors® as the 2010 Affiliate Member of the Year. Jerry received this award during the  Chicago Association of Realtors® 127^th Annual Inaugural Gala held on September 16, 2010, in downtown Chicago.

Jerry represented the Chicago Association of Realtors®  in the consolidation of Chicago’s two multiple listing services to create Midwest Real Estate Data. He was instrumental in negotiating the settlement of litigation that was blocking the consolidation.

With his hard work, Jerry was able to help C.A.R. close the transaction, which eliminated the duplicate multiple listing service paid by many Chicago area Realtors®, and created Midwest Real Estate Data, a single MLS for Chicago and one of the largest broker-controlled MLS systems in the United States. 

Jerry Holisky is a seasoned business lawyer who concentrates his practice on the legal concerns of closely-held companies and their owners. He functions as outside general counsel for many businesses, serving as their principal legal adviser and initial point of contact at Aronberg Goldgehn. Jerry has extensive experience in business formations, mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance, secured transactions, real estate, a wide range of commercial agreements, and the structuring of complex business relationships, including joint ventures. He is experienced in all aspects of practice under the Illinois Business Corporation Act, the Delaware General Corporation Law, the limited liability company and partnership acts of both States, and the Uniform Commercial Code.
