Ronald J. Aronberg (1932-2014)

All of us at Aronberg Goldgehn mourn the loss of our colleague, friend and retired partner Ronald J. Aronberg. Ron was an esteemed leader of the firm for more than 20 years and left an indelible mark on the firm; he will long be remembered.

Ron was known for his thoughtful mentorship within Aronberg Goldgehn’s Business Law and Transactions practice group throughout his extensive career. He brilliantly served as the firm’s sole managing partner from 1970 through 1992.

His philanthropic activities and contributions to the legal community were widespread. An alumnus of the University of Chicago Law School (1957), he served as a Member of its Visiting Committee, President of its National Alumni Association and Chairman of its Annual Fund for the Law School. He was a member of the Chicago Bar Association and participated on its Financial Institutions Committee. Ron also served as a Trustee of Roosevelt University and was a Chairman of the Advisory Council of its Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration.
