Kristina D. Diesner focuses her practice on intellectual property law matters. She counsels individuals and companies in the protection and enforcement of their trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. She also advises clients on trademark registrations.
She is regularly engaged in drafting trademark office action responses, complaints, cease and desist letters, motions for entry of default, motions for entry of default judgment and motions for summary judgment in lieu of complaint. She also files trademark applications, monitors numerous trademarks and performs trademark clearance searches for clients in order to recommend the strongest marks.
SPEECHES AND PUBLICATIONS
As a law student, Kristina was published in the “DePaul Journal of Art, Technology & Intellectual Property Law” for her Case Note on the 6th Circuit’s opinion Varsity Brands, Inc. v. Star Athletica, LLC.
Kristina joined Aronberg Goldgehn as an associate in April 2019. Previously she was an associate at Johnson & Bell.
While in law school, she received the CALI Excellence Award for Legal Research and Communication III and the CALI Excellence Award for Legal Drafting: Transactional. She also served as a Case Notes and Comments Editor for the “DePaul Journal of Art, Technology & Intellectual Property Law.”
Prior to earning her J.D., Kristina gained experience in motion practice and preparing trademark applications while working as a law clerk at a small Chicago law firm that specialized in intellectual property.

What is the best vacation you’ve ever been on? I went to Florence and Rome after I took the Illinois Bar.

What is something most people don’t know about you? My grandpa’s cousin created the Gardetto’s snacks.
